Brian Edwin Hubbard, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully in Pensacola on March 10, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on April 23, 1957, in Pensacola, Brian's journey through life was marked by dedication, skill, and a profound love for his family.

Most notable was Brian's exceptional career as an aircraft mechanic, a field where he poured thirty years of passion and expertise into his work. His journey began at Nedep, where he became known for his remarkable abilities and later transitioned to serve as a DOD contractor, a role that he cherished until his retirement in 2022. His family fondly recalls his unwavering commitment to his craft, which led to his reputation of being "Mr. Fix It." Friends and family would often call on him to repair everything from household items to complex machinery—his touch worked wonders wherever he went. Brian found joy in sharing his talent, and his famous fish fry gatherings became a cherished tradition among loved ones.

While his career was characterized by hard work, it was spending time with his family that truly fulfilled him. He had a special bond with his grandchildren—Fallion, Graysen, and August Hubbard, and Logan Bullington—who brought immense joy into his life. No moment was too small for Brian to treasure, whether it was a simple family dinner or a day spent laughing with his grandchildren. The memories created during these precious times will forever be held close to the hearts of those who knew him.

Brian's educational journey began at Liberal Arts High School in Pensacola, followed by his apprenticeship in aircraft mechanics at Southwest State Technical College. His foundation in learning paved the way for a successful career that not only showcased his technical skills but also his ability to teach and mentor others.

Brian is survived by his loving wife, Beverly Guthrie Hubbard, and his devoted children, Owen and Dee Hubbard, and Kristen and Brian Bullington. His siblings, Bridget Hubbard Melvin and William James Hubbard, also survive him, holding on to the cherished memories of their times together. Brian now joins his parents, William James Hubbard and Georgette Graham Hubbard, in eternal peace.

As we remember Brian Edwin Hubbard, we honor a man whose legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched with his kindness, laughter, and unwavering support.
