Charles Westley Sherrill

Charles Westley Sherrill, age 71 of Rockwood, Tn, passed away Thursday evening, October 17th, 2024 at Sacred Heart hospital, Pensacola, Florida. 

He loved the Lord more than anything and spent over 40 years working in different ministries, including teaching, missions, pastoring and preaching. However, we believe his greatest ministry was his ability to love people. 

He was proceeded in death by his Mother Elizabeth Miles, Father Wesley Sherrill, Sisters Ruth Allen and Marysue Sherrill, and his wife of 48 years Diane Sherrill. 

He is survived by his wife of 5 years Cynthia Sherrill, sister Dian(Andy) Stoker, brothers David (Brenda) Sherrill, and Wesley Kennedy, daughter Tammy (Doug) Irwin, son Charles Sherrill Jr., stepdaughter Stacy(Adam) Louis. He also has a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren who loved him dearly. 

Charles spent 40 years building a business as a tree expert, before he semi-retired to Pensacola, where he continued to work for a tree trimming company. He had a passion for fishing and spent many days reeling in catfish with his friends and family.
