Karen Denise Thompson

Karen Denise Thompson, 65, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away on December 31, 2024. Born on August 3, 1959, Denise was the eldest of three daughters. 

Denise was a remarkable woman, known for her strength, cleverness, and adventurous spirit. She had a heart full of love and a soul that thrived on connection and exploration. A social butterfly, Denise's boundless love touched everyone she met, leaving a legacy of kindness and compassion.

Denise was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Schiavo; nephew, Adam Castleberry; sister, Barbara Castleberry; and husband, Frank Thompson. She is survived by her children, Kyle Schmitz and Katlyn Schmitz, and her beloved grandsons, Oliver Schmitz and Aiden Roach.

In accordance with her wishes, Denise will be cremated, and no formal funeral service will be held. Her family cherishes the memories of her vibrant and generous life and invites those who knew her to celebrate her spirit in their own special way.
