Kyle Michael Dover

Kyle Michael Dover , 68 of Milton, Fl, passed away on April 11th ,2025 surrounded by loving family at home .

Kyle was born February 10th 1957 in Columbia , SC. The son of Peggy Lucretia Shealy (Dover) and John Everett Dover Jr.

Kyle met his wife Sherry Lou Dover in 1985 in Panama City Beach , Fl. They were married July 4th in 1988. They had two children Chelsea Hollis (Dover) and Kyle Michael Dover Jr.

Kyle especially loved fishing , golfing , watching football , NASCAR , cooking shows and watching president Trump change the world . He loved cooking gourmet food . He also loved watching his grandkids play soccer. He loved spending time with his beloved pet nacho and giving him treats multiple times a day .

Some of  Sherry’s favorite memories of Kyle was walking the beaches at sunset and fishing,  crabbing and eating at a restaurant in Panama City Beach that over looked the ocean. Sherry also loved when her and Kyle were together 24/7 in their 18 wheeler semi traveling the United States from February 1989 until September 1989. 

One of Aubree’s favorite memories of her grandpa is when they went fishing on the boat together and she out fished him in their competition they had of who could catch the most fish . Then Aubree caught two at once and she will never forget the smile on her grandpas face . Her Grandpa loved that so much .

Kyle was a very thoughtful , giving , considerate , grateful , helpful , caring , guiding , charming , passionate human. But most of all for those who really knew him closely he was very funny . Sometimes he would make you laugh so hard you would start to grow abs . We all will cherish the good times with him. We will miss him dearly and he will live in our hearts for eternity until we see him again on the other side one day .

Kyle was the best husband , father and grandpa anyone could ever ask for ! We are all so blessed to have had him in our lives.

Kyle is survived by his wife Sherry L. Dover . His two children Chelsea Hollis and Kyle Michael Dover Jr. His two grandchildren Jordan and Aubree Hollis . His sister Bonnie. Son in Law Shawn Hollis. His beloved pet Nacho and Pookie .

Kyle is proceeded in death with his parents Peggy Dover and John Dover Jr. Brother Johnny Dover . Beloved pets over the past 37 years. Magnum, Casey, Misty, Baby Precious , Gizmo, Maximo, Razzy, Spanky, Rex, Casanova, Cutie, Skeeter and pumpkin.

Kyle will forever hold a special place in our hearts . We love him and miss him dearly. He is now our guardian angel in the sky. Until it’s time to meet again . We love you (Kyle, aka Dad , Grandpa.)
