Thelma Nadine McCue, lovingly known as Nannylou, passed away on April 21, 2025, in Fountain, Florida. Born on November 9, 1950, in Plant City, Florida, she brought joy and warmth to those around her throughout her life.

Thelma dedicated over 15 years of her career to Rooms to Go, where she worked in Accounting. Her professional life was marked by diligence and a genuine passion for her work. Outside of her career, Thelma was characterized by her generosity and love for family. She took great pleasure in hosting family events and was known for her desire to give to others. Her spirit was always bright, a true reflection of her positive personality.

A woman of faith, Thelma attended Hillcrest Baptist Church regularly and enjoyed connecting with fellow churchgoers, particularly through her love for Bingo and Dominoes. She had a keen eye for shopping and delighted in finding good deals, which she often shared with her loved ones.

Thelma is survived by her husband, Charles Willis McCue of 20 years and her daughter, Robin Seelye husband Matt. She is also survived by her stepdaughters, Lawanda Dixon and husband Ronnie, Michelle Hartley and husband Frank, and Melody Patterson, along with her stepson, Zandy McCue and his wife Michelle. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Kayla Emery and husband Kurtis, Johnathan Smith and wife Victoria, Jessica Corrivea and husband Steven, Kristen Dross and husband John, Tony Seelye and wife Courtney, Matthew Seelye, Ronnie Dixon and wife Amber, Troy Deese Jr and wife Kelly, Makayla Godwin and husband Colby, Jeremy Deese and wife Mckaylin, and Abby Rhodes, as well as her great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Thelma also leaves behind her beloved sisters, Lavern Price, Hilda Sellers, and Hazel Richardson, along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Thelma was preceded in death by her first husband, Jerry Wayne Smith; her son, Shane Jerry Smith; her daughter, Sandra Smith; and her parents, Samuel James Sellers and Lucy America Howell Sellers. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. The loving memories she created will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
